12 oz (375 g) fresh prawns
1 TB butter sprig of fresh curry leaves, stripped from stem
2 hot green chilies, sliced
1 tsp finely chopped garlic
1 tsp white sugar
1 tsp black pepper

60 ml/2 fl oz evaporated milk

1 package dried yeast or 1 cake fresh yeast
1 cup lukewarm water
4 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Crisco or vegetable oil
1/2 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons sesame seed oil

3/4 cup beef broth (beef bouillion cubes can be used)
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
